I have a Plextor CDG burner, that I purchased a year ago and I am just now getting it installed. I spoke with technical support at Plextor and he said, since I have a brand new HP Pavilion desktop computer (only 6 weeks old) that it already has burning capabilities and I wouldn't need to purchase any software. He said I would need to install a Serial ATA controller (SATA). Does anyone know how to explain this to me in simple laymans terms. Or where I am suppose to get this?
