It sounds like you bought LW from a scam site. There are heaps around. Some will charge you for LW basic (which is free) & also charge you extra for a heap of other programs (which are usually freeware as well).

The only official site for downloading LW is Lime Wire » Download LimeWire (payment to LimeWireLLC shows on credit card statement)

Basic LW is free & you'll see the Pro prices in the link above. The official site doesn't offer any 'extras' apart from email support & free updates, if you buy LW Pro.
