Best burner software for Mac is Toast. Toast Titanium. It has great audio, image & video burning options. Version 10 was just released but any version from 7 upward would be good for you I suspect. The later the version, the more disk writers it has compatibility with, such as newer released ones. Get a hold of this program. You will not regret it, it is the very best one & always has been the best one for Mac, even before OSX was around. Arguably better than the Windows Nero burner program (Toast was around before Nero was).
For Mac machines, you do need to check disk burners have Mac OSX drivers.
One option is a utility called
Patchburn (click on link), which adds some compatibility for some burner drives. Oops just went to that site & it says no version for Leopard. Need to check with author about that, perhaps you can contact them.
