Hell yeah this is annoying! Just purchased the pro version as well. E-mail to their support has resulted in no reply. I did the attrib -r command to My Documents using the command:
attrib -r "c:\documents and settings\username\my documents\*.*" -r /s
I checked the attributes to the folder via Windows Explorer after doing this and the folder is still read-only. No fix yet. I have to assume that this folder isn't really read-only and this is just an XP trick. Other programs like Winamp/Morpheus/MusicMatch can write to this folder just fine. I have to assume it's either LimeWire or the Sun JVM.
Any answers from one of the 6 full-time LimeWire developers would be greatly appreciated.
