Here's an anomaly I've started to experience lately. Downloading files from the Gnutella network are much too slow compared to when I am browsing the Internet normally. For example, I can download an ISO file from the World Wide Web at approximately 187 Kbps... but when I switch to LimeWire and Gnutella mode and try to download a file, I'm only registering speeds of about 3 to 4 Kbps! What's the deal here? Can anyone help me out? Or is this part of the Fed's move to discourage illegal music sharing?

No matter what the issue is, I'd appreciate any help you can give me on this matter.
