Spam is generally quite bad now, there are so many of them out there. There is a chance you are connected directly to a spam ultrapeer. In which case removing one of them might help. But, you will temporarily lose connection doing so & will need to wait several minutes until LW finds another & settles back to a good connection. ie: Go to View menu -> Show/hide Connections. Select one you were connected to longest, then press remove button at bottom of window. Use this only one at a time, else you will lose connection & have problems for quite some time.

You could potentially add quality or bitrate into the word filter, however that might also filter out some good search results. So use with care.
