Do you have Extended Tooltips turned on? Right-click the heading bar of any window such as downloads window & choose that option. Then you can hover your cursor over a file in the download window to see if any data has been lost due to corruption.

I get the impression your LW is not shutting down properly. Perhaps not closing fully before you shutdown the computer. Do you have LW set to shutdown immediately, that's probably the best option.

It might also be a corruption in your preferences folder. If you wish to make a note of all your settings, then do this: delete your LW Preferences folder whilst LW is closed; instructions here: Point #2 & 3 in Fixes for Limewire (sample image included at bottom of page.) or if using vista see http://www.gnutellaforums.com/genera...der-vista.html but LW must be closed at that time.
