Did you do a side-by-side comparision of running with and without PeerGuardian?
What I can currently think of:
* number of spam results for a common term (how about s e x ? - that gets spammed quite much
)
* number of good results for a regular search (how about "amv avi": Anime Music Videos)
* average network bandwidth when not searching yourself
