It is possible to make a more direct request. But you will need to sign up to their wiki. And create a new issue, post it as either a New Feature or Improvement, not as a bug. https://www.limewire.org/jira/browse/LWC -> Create a new issue in project LimeWire Client

Not sure exactly what you are requesting. But if it were Mac OSX, you might be able to achieve that if you were good at scripting. A script to open LW at certain times of day. LW 5 however does not have any prioritizing for downloads unlike LW 4 had.
