Try these fixes please
(If LW 4 will not connect) do them in this order:-
[1] check your firewall
[2] delete/replace gnutella.net File
[3] delete limewire's preferences folder (another name for Limewire foler)
if still not working go back to the top and do the remainder of the fixes
