TUGZip - The Free Archiving Utility. It might have some limitations in comparison to winrar for encoding segmented files however.
Edit: to open a segmented rar set of files, you open the very first numbered one .. in fact it might even the one without a number before no. 1, you open with the rar opening program & it will see the rest & unarchive them & glue them back together as it was before being rar'd.
eg: holidays.rar, holidays_1.rar, holidays_2.rar, etc. OR holidays.part1.rar, holidays.part2.rar, holidays.part3.rar, etc.
You would open the very first one in the series as suggested.
