As a non-American, I must say that it is a sad day when any soldier dies, whether American, British or whatever, in this pointless, morally bankrupt, war.

A war started by politicians and their spin doctors for their own petty reasons.

You know, we in the west pride ourselves on being the good guys, the ones who are fighting for justice and human rights. But the war in Iraq shows that we are not so good, we can attack anyone we do not like and who are weaker than us.

What a waste of life, what a waste of resources and what a total waste of everything that we thought we stood for.

As you can see, I agree with Peerless, the war is senseless, stupid and unwarranted.

The sad thing is that our allied soldiers are dying simply because our currupt politicians thought that the costs, for whatever reason, were politically acceptable.

I hope that our allied troops can eventually pull out of Iraq and allow that country to heal and devote ourselves to the true enemy that would drag us all back into the stone age.
