ok .. so it's not 100% complete.

Try this, close LW, delete your LW preferences folder (but remove the downloads.dat file first from the preferences folder). Then open LW back up. LW will then create a fresh preferences folder. Close LW. Then replace the new downloads.dat file with the older one you saved. Instructions here in point #3 Fixes for Limewire (click on blue link)

If that does not help, right-click the file in the download window & choose Change File Location, and choose a different partition if you have one.
