Are these torrent files? Have you got LW set to handle torrents? Without even knowing what version of LW you're using
I'm guessing LW 5. So...
In LW Tools > Options > Advanced > System. Check File Associations... if LW's set to associate with .torrent files then untick the box > ok. Restart LW.
If that doesn't do it then you might have to change things within Windows settings (assuming you use Windows - you didn't even tell us that much
