Firstoff: If you don't use an anonymous system like i2phex (
forum.i2p ~ View Forum - I2Phex ) you only have the anonymity of the mass: Your provider can sniff you and people can see what you search for, but you're just one of about 5 million simultaneous users. Also you send your searches to other uses and effectively ask them "do you have a matching file".
Besides: Every p2p network only works because people share and help each other. If you only want to download but not share bandwidth or route search results, you will rightfully be called leacher, because you profit from other peoples bandwidth without giving anything back.
Please find some legal material which you can share. Examples are free movies like elephants dream and big buck bunny (and much free software movies and political stuff) and most of the music from jamendo.
