Had problems whereby Limewire loaded but wouldn't connect. After trying everything from cleaning it out, reinstalling, updating Java etc etc gave it the boot. Recently downloaded a new version and it was working fine. Then upgraded to 5.3.6 and had the disappearing Limewire problem others have had! Stumbled across the suggestion in the forum (2009 post) to rename the folder to Limewire2 and magic result - now functioning.
