Sharing Notification I am running Limewire Basic Version 2.9.4 on an older SE Graphite gray all-in-one IMAC ( OS 9.2). Does the sharing notification down at bottom left corner indicate the number of files available to be shared, or the number of files being downloaded from me while it is actually in the process? If it is the latter, than am I right in believing I will not know that my shared folder is accessible unless 1) I happened to witness the notification go from "sharing 0 files" to "sharing 1 files" ( number may vary ) or catch it at some point in the act of the download. or 2) I go into preferences and confirm the setting for sharing? This seems a bit ambiguous to me. I thought if I had 99 files in my shared folder and made it accessible to other peers on the network, the notification would read "sharing 99 files". This way I would not know if any are being downloaded from me at any given moment, but I would know how many I am offering at any given moment. Did this ever change in later versions? |
