Hello Taa, and welcome to the Gnutella forums!

Not knowing how computer literate you are makes this more challenging.

Have the files been completely deleted from your computer (not in the recycle bin)? Done a search on your machine for .mp3 (or whatever extension the files had)?

There is software that can recover deleted files. Sorry, I can't think of any to suggest right now. Maybe someone else here can help with that; and you can google for info on file recovery software. There may be some free programs available.

Meanwhile, don't write (download) any more files to the disk, as they may overwrite the deleted files (the "deleted" stuff is still there, but its location is listed as 'vacant').

Let us know what you have tried, and there's a good chance that you can recover at least some of your files.
