why is there not an ativirus on limewire, it was my fault, not the owner of the file i download, but why are there not any virus checkers? checking if the files you are about to download are safe aor not...

i tried to download a file i thought was of like a photoshop 7 or so but it turned out to have a setup.exe that didnt seem to have adobe like features, and then later on my computer crashed and now i cant access my computer...

it was my fault that i went ahead and downloaded it, but it is partially a problem when there are so many files on there that are not safe...

anyways...my names darren im 28 from near london ontario and im hoping i can get my winxp computer fixed...im in a mad scramble to find the replacement cd the one that fixes it...
