Hiya! I've searched both this forum and the internet but cannot find the answer to my problems with getting LimeWire to work on my Mac.

Here are the details:
MacBook Air
OS X Version 10.5.8
Intel Core 2 Duo (which I think means 64 bit)

When I right click on Limewire, I see I downloaded 4.16.7. LW does open up but never connects. Also, the bottom right says there is a firewall, but I've gone into my Security Settings and changed LW to allow incoming connections. I've tried other suggestions from threads, like unclicking the "Suggest Tips" and connect/disconnecting Limewire and starting it manually instead of having run at Startup. I've also gone into the Receipts folder and moved the downloads.dat file and then deleted the LW Preferences folder. Nothing has worked! I'm fairly new to Mac so I could be doing something wrong.

Can anybody help? Please?
