I am new to this, & frankly practically computer illiterate. Don't get me wrong, I've been using computers for over 10 years now but just for basic things like chatting ,sending & receiving e-mails & downloading songs for my iPod. The problem is I recently purchased a Mac & have to learn its operating system now. I've been reading the tutorials, but when things get technical I start to get lost. Maybe my age has something to do with it, I'm 51yrs. old now, & you know what they say about old dogs & new tricks. Any way, the reason I joined this site was to see if anyone could help me with this problem & I'm sure your tired of hearing it. My limewire was working fine but one day when I was browsing through C-net I read Limewire had an upgrade & after reading the review I decided to give it a try, much to my dismay it would not open & of course I lost my old limewire app. so now I'm stuck with no limewire at all. I tried deleting the new version & reinstalling the old to no avail. If I understand correctly the updated version of limewire will not work with my powerPC processors, only the Intel processors which are not in my Mac so that's my problem. any advice or help would be Greatly appreciated bearing in mind that I get lost if the solution becomes too technical.
