You know, I did not spot that about the title but, in a lighthearted way, you're right.
However,the serious part of your post points out the way big companies assume "god-like" powers against the ordinary customer. Because unless you, the customer, have the technical expertise (or can pay for the expertise), to prove them wrong you are left with taking your custom elsewhere.
I am glad I have left Virgin because their arrogance towards their paying customers seem to have no limits.
