Default Deleting Windows Programs

Hi Justin

You know, one of the problems with deleting programs is that you may also accidentally delete a shared file, i.e. a .dll (or some such) that is used by more than one program, and windows has loads of these files.

Now, sometimes you may get an error message that will tell you which .dll file is missing, watch out for that, if you do make a note of the file name and where it is suppose to be, that is where windows is looking for it.

Then go to this website: DLL-files.com

Download the missing file, unzip and copy it to the location where windows expects it to be.

Finally, re-boot your PC.

I've run into several problems where I have had to download .dll's but when caused by incomplete installations.

PS. You've not said but I presume you are using a PC running windows.
