LOTR Thanks for your help. I already have the latest version of VLC and even that cannot open the .mov files. When these files said it they needed QT ver 7.0, I also tried that. Did not work. So your conclusion that what I have is spam and the videos are not authentic QT movies makes sense. I'll also review the spam filter features and use them as you suggested.
