I didn't mean to convey a false sense of security. Indeed, I have found that when I throw caution to the wind, the wind usually throws it back at me with a vengance. So I agree, it's always a good idea to consider the 'better safe than sorry' angle.
I also agree that it is not wise to depend on LW's filters to keep one from dl'ing copyrighted material. I do believe that there are some people here who actually abide by all the laws of their country. However to be perfectly safe, they should probably join Netflix, which isn't very expensive. (And I should try more often to heed my own cautionary advice!) |
