Well, that just goes to show how little I know. None of that meant anything to me. I just don't know what any of those terms mean but anyway, it turned out that the file was corrupt and my computer archived it. So frustrating because I am longing to have that kid's movie and there is not a single .avi copy which is not corrupt. Why do people do it? It is so nasty and childish and I wish there were a way Limewire would take responsibility for checking everything on their site. There must be a way that everything can be run through a scan similar to a backup.
Thanks again. It looks as though I will just have to stay with .avi and if I can't find the movie in that format, go without.
