no the limit is bigger than 2 GB, I share larger. The size was increased a few years ago I believe.

Nobody should be able to find their own shared files. LW was not designed to find a user's own files. If someone has downloaded your file
and is sharing the file then you should be able to find it in a search however, this will be limited by LW's search horizon. A person cannot search 100% of the network. This is why using the
Get More Results option can help.
