And you tried manually moving the incomplete files to the new location also after adjusting the downloads.dat file? I'm guessing you did. This is an issue worth bringing up with the devs to see if this can be improved for the future. Heck, with torrent programs it's actually quite easy to change file location whether the file is incomplete or completed (seeding/sharing).
