Have you tried the LimeWire Fix created by File_Girl71?
Have a look at Birdy's post http://www.gnutellaforums.com/connec...t-connect.html
Oh sorry File_Girl's fix is windows only presently though she's going to work on a Mac one. Use Birdy's advice lower down about replacing the Gnutella.net file.

I'm not sure what's happening with Acquisition. Their site is still active. But perhaps the developer used the codes of LW after LW 5.5.10 which may mean problems of it running.
