Try File_Girl's fix http://www.gnutellaforums.com/connec...t-connect.html .. this might be the issue.
I am connecting fine using LimeWire 5, Phex, FrostWire, BearShare, Gnucleus, or Morpheus.
Perhaps you might like to look at the LimeWire Pirate Edition. It also works well.
