FrostWire is a java application so very much relies on Java. Keeping your Java up-to-date is wise. Also, wisest to install Java via offline-installers. Also good to run a cleaner like
CCleaner to keep the registry clean to remove old registry & other information the installers may not have removed.
A word of warning about FrostWire, it installs the Ask toolbar by default. Most people don't realise this & wonder what this other installed junk is. So check the FW installer options carefully next time.
