Greetings bedelman,
Welcome to the Gnutella forums!
You'll find a lot of good info here re how to get the best quality music, transferring to iPod, and antiviral programs.
To listen to your music on your computer: The most recommended player here is VLC player or GOM player; both are free and easily found via a websearch.
The easiest burner software I've found is Burrn (also free). Remember that some (older) CD players do not handle CD-RW disks, but all should play CD-R disks without problems. And newer CD players can play MP3s, allowing more music to fit on a disk, whereas older, or cheaper players cannot. If your CD player does not play MP3s, make sure you burn the disk as a "music disk", so that the songs will be converted to be compatible with most, if not all, CD players. If your CD player can handle MP3s, burning the disk as a "data disk" allows you to put far more content on the disk. |
