With three suspects at large Saturday, the mother of a 16-year-old boy who was stabbed inside East Commerce Collegiate Institute said she was afraid for her son’s life.
Toronto police arrested one youth Saturday morning, as the victim lay in hospital in serious condition.
He was stabbed Friday afternoon during a fight on the second floor of the school, near Danforth and Jones Aves. His mother told the
Star he was stabbed three times — twice in the back and once below his belly button — and has a punctured lung.
