owl3951 I hear you loud and clear and agree with you. I did get a responce from limewire. I just had to wait until Monday. but it was all for nothing the fix that is in this string work great for me and yeah I dont like the spyware either. now they have a new upgrade 2.4.4 hahahah just follow these instructions
"Go to the directory in which Limewire is installed (probably under C:\Program Files\LimeWire\...), rename LimeWire.jar to something else, then copy/rename LimeWire243.jar to LimeWire.jar." and guess what it works.
