I have noticed that some WireShare/5.6.4.3 do the same request to GWC multiple times (even more than 10) and every request is distant about 2/5 seconds.
It should wait a lot more otherwise it can cause problems if a large amount of client start doing this.

Also the query has a double "&", it doesn't cause any problem but it is strange: ?get=1&net=gnutella&&client=WSHR&version=5.6.4.3
