Yes it runs on the same network.

LimeWire Pirate Edition 5.6.2 (LPE) based off the LW 5.6.1 beta was released late 2010, then WireShare became the newer generation of the program in 2014 ironing out several bugs in the earlier version (LPE).

What do you mean it is not working again? Chances are you need a connection fix, see http://www.gnutellaforums.com/connec...t-connect.html.
If the LimeWire program complains about Java when you definitely have Java installed, then use LimeStart to startup the program. LimeStart helps solve the Java problem whilst simultaneously preventing the connection file being deleted if LimeWire has not been used for 28 or more days.
