Or do you mean they are locked by the OS system or a commercial locking program? If they are locked by the OS system then they might not reside in your personal account and instead another user's computer account or the files reside within a system folder. I believe in most OS's you can select the file(s) and get information and there will be information as to whether they are locked and if yes, an option to unlock the files. The files would first need to reside or be moved to your computer's personal account area. |
