Not trying to patronize, or slight anyone else that is putting their efforts forward in trying to help, I will say that I have seen many a helpful posts from you, and thats good.

I would like to take this opportunity to apologize to you if you were offended (referring to your previous post, "Well, thank you very much") that was not my intent.

I'm sure it is very frustrating to get slammed over and over with the same problems or complaints, making it difficult not to respond with something inappropriate.

But whats sad about that is that the ones that are trying to help are catching all the flak, while the ones that should be getting it are just sitting back. Users want honest, sincere answers, not excuses. For instance, this was stated, referring to an install problem (see my previous post above) Quote: "almost definately".. To me "almost" means maybe..definately means for sure. What that says to me is try it, if it works great, if not, your out of luck. I need not say who made that statement.

I take it that you and most of the others that are trying to help are not that savvy to the inner workings, meaning the coding, of the software, (I know I'm not) therefore you can only rely on your experience as to what works and what doesn't. Work-arounds is not the answer, fixing the problem is. I stand corrected if I am wrong about that.

I will compliment the LimeWire Team for their efforts in helping to advance the Gnutella platform, but I think (just my opinion) that their priorities in reference the software, and in particular the users interests has shifted to something different over a period of time.

Just my opinions, and you know what people say about opinions, "They are like...........everybody has one". Bet you thought I was gonna say something profane....*L*..
