1.Some of my desktop icons have vanished, don't know why. I never moved or deleted them. How to retrieve them easily, without having to download an internet program which I find it difficult to follow, apart from the expense involved?

2. What to do when a shortcut will not open, but you get instead a small window saying that QUOTE this shortcut has been moved or deleted and therefore it will not work porperly. Do you want to delete it? Yes or No? UNQUOTE

3. Printing:- When I go to print settings, the page that pops up asking me to choose layout, paper quality, is in very faint type. How to darken the fonts? I have darkened the pc screen, but this did not solve my problem.
