LimeWire is written in Java. javaw is the program that interprets the java code. Anytime you run a java program, it is run through javaw.

Saying javaw caused an error while running limewire is pretty much the same as saying limewire caused an error. I know that isn't any better, and I can't say why it happens. Sorry. At least I can tell you what javaw is
