This feature requires a bit of experience to use properly. Sometimes after a new search, the original "busy" connection (usually a bit more hopeful than the eternal "requery") will be lost after another hit shows up in the search. I don't know if the previous host address is somehow stored, so that there is a sort of cumulative "smart download" effect. At the same time, only one of a "smart download" set may begin, leaving you with a partial file in the library. But at least you are downloading something.
Otherwise, this is a very useful feature. If you class your downloads according to artist or TV program, for instance, you can continue doing more global searches and several stalled downloads can begin at once. |
