Wink ZeroG sucks, not Limewire

the zerog install anywhere product isn't exactly enhancing the limewire experience. the unpack-and-run .tgz version works reliably, and takes about 10 seconds to 2 minutes depending on your typing speed and experience. on the other hand, the zerog installer took much longer, and there was at least one moment of progerss bar stoppage so long i was about to kill it when it took off again. when zerog was done, it had failed to create launchers in any of my installed window managers, so no was time saved there.

if it can be as simple as unpack-and-run, why pay good money to zerog but not use rpm or apt, which are both already adored by so many linux users? someone tell me where the added value is, please.

can't understand why the limewire developers would want their fine product associated with the zerog product. IMO, the install anywhere product isn't all that impressive on any platform (just glance at any platform's limewire forum for evidence of this suckitude), and management at zerog is ethically bankrupt (different story).
