Zapping the pram only helps in rather limited situations, but it does give you something to do, I suppose, even if it doesn't help much.
If your mp3 files are OK, that is, they can be played in iTunes or some other program, go ahead and toss the bloated Audion file, then rebuild the desktop after running Norton or TechTools (and yes, I know some of you think Norton is dreadful, but it's always worked fine for me). If there are no other problems showing up in terms of file size, icon appearance, or finder errors, the problem is likely limited to that file alone.
I'm not sure Audion is still available, but save your serial and download it again. I tried the prog. out a couple of times but didn't see any advantage over iTunes or Soundjam (unfortunately no longer around). |
