i have downloaded the limewire basic program, but can't get connected to it.
when i try, i am told:

the remote side is not responding correctly - check the configuration of your
control panels and try again.

and then:

could not find a port to use for incoming connections. specify port through
configuration window.

my computer is a G4 and my internet access is through aol. is this program
not compatible with either mac os 9.1 or aol? please advise me how to procede.
