You can add new ones yourself in Tools > preferences > network tab. Any manual hosts added from there are placed at the top of the list so they are used first.
However, XoloX already automatically maintains the hostlist for you. Always weeding out slow and dead hosts and adding faster ones all the time. The more you use it, you see the faster you connect.
The host file is encyrpted ( not hard to crack) and other threads do deal with this topic.

But again, you can do that on tools > preferences. As far as viewing what host you are connected to just do a 'netstat' in a command prompt. XoloX intentionally doesn't show info most users care less about - that is why there are so many program to choose from. If you want something simple and fast, XoloX is the best choice. |
