Well, LimeWire probably has nothing to do with it. The installer is licensed from a third party, so all they can do is tell the company that created the installer for Macs about your problems (they probably won't do so, if your emails look like your posting here, though).

If the installer doesn't work, you have to use another one or compile LimeWire yourself.

And remember old versions of MacOS are still supported, but LimeWire won't work 100% perfectly on Macs, since Apple doesn't release newer versions of Java for Mac. If you want LimeWire to perform acceptably well, you will probably have to upgrade.
