It seems that Limewire has the following behaviour:

If a download disconnected, then it seems as if Limewire keeps trying to requery the same host until its back up again.

However, if you repeat the search it can sometimes find the same file at another location. It then resumes the download from the new host. The same happens if you already have the search query and you click "Repeat Search".

What I would like is an auto-"repeat search" feature so that it does this automatically every xx minutes. That way if a host disconnects in the middle of the night, Limewire has a chance of grabbing a new one .....
