whoa... you call that easy?


1. shell
2. su
3. kate /etc/bashrc
4. added "PATH=$PATH:/usr/java/jre1.4.0/bin"
or whatever directory java is.
5. restarted kde, checked by typing "java -version" in the shell.

well of course that's after jre is installed.
