I run windows ME, 800 Mhz processor on a Gateway system. I connect with a SB4101 Motorola Cable Modem @ moderate speeds for a cable modem. My provider is Charter communication.

I have Windows Media Player, Real One, Quick Time, & the provided media player with Lime Wire.

The problem seems to happen on all players. I get the best quality playback if I defrag after downloading. This causes me concerns that it is my system and a file placement issue. I have progressed with Lime Wire from the original version to just today upgrading to v2.5.5.

Any ideas ??
