The only thing I can suggest is going back to an earlier version such as 2.4.4

I got the same error and it ran extremely slow and froze more than normal. I just reinstalled my older version. I haven't heard of any fixes for the error messages or for how it's working (or NOT working).

Sorry I can't offer any other help.

P.S. I noticed this was posted elsewhere and you were questioning QuickTime 6. I don't THINK that's the problem. I don't have QT 6 and I had alot of problems with LW 2.5.5 including the same error message.
